Live Tweets And Blog Posts From Finovate Spring 2017

April 26, 2017 at 10:25 AM

Being a company that’s so passionate about software and analytical innovation means that we must constantly keep our ear on the ground for new trends and products around the world. There is hardly a better place for innovation than California’s Silicon Valley. Over the next couple of days (26th - 27th April), I'll be live-tweeting from this year's Finovate Spring conference in San Jose, California and summarising my take from a data analytics perspective in blog posts at the end of each day.

This is the second time we're attending Finovate, a series (4 per year in each of Europe, Asia, East Coast USA, Silicon Valley) of financial technology conferences where a variety of hand-picked organisations pitch their latest and greatest innovations to an international audience. It’s a great format – a bit like speed-dating for start-ups: 7-minute demo pitches from (this year) 59 companies over two days. And whereas industry conference tend to focus on what’s happening in your specific industry, Finovate allows you to see what technology and advancements other industries are adopting.

Data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and bots are all keywords I'll be listening out for during the presentations to learn how all of these are being used in innovative and exciting ways within the financial services and fintech industries.

Let me share my thoughts and experience at Finovate with you: To receive notifications of my Finovate blog posts in your mailbox, subscribe to our blog above in our header and follow @PrincipaD on Twitter for my live tweets.

It promises to be an exciting event.
