Taking Advantage Of Disruption In The Debt Collection Industry

April 30, 2018 at 8:35 AM

As Debt Collection and Recovery experts, we are given the opportunity to attend and present at industry conferences and events. We find the conferences incredibly valuable in helping us stay up to date, as well as challenging us to remain innovative.

That’s why we’re so excited about attending this event, hosted by Trade Conferences International.

Debt Collection Conference 2018

This annual conference is held in Johannesburg on the 13th and 14th of June in 2018, with “Taking advantage of disruption in the debt collection industry in South Africa” as the theme.

With the state of spending and credit as it is in South Africa, the picture is clear: South Africa is over-indebted. This, of course, means debt collection companies have an ever-increasing role to play.

This year, the conference is looking to address factors impacting on the debt collection environment such as customer engagement, data analytics, technology and automation, as well as the rise of digital’s role in collections. All of these factors are contributing to disruption in the industry.

The conference aims to not only address these disrupting factors, but to also work together as delegates to develop new strategies and approaches and analyse these to prove how both external and internal influences can be turned into profitable outcomes.

Our CEO, Jaco Rossouw, will be speaking on the topic of “Decision technology and the human / machine interface in collections”, while I will cover: “Building a data drive collection strategy”.

Trade Conferences International (TCI), organisers of the annual Debt Collection Conference, welcomes both Jaco and Perry to the speaker panel of South Africa’s no 1 debt collection conference. They are joining a top class speaker panel consisting of not only experts in the debt collection industry, but also those dealing with customer engagement, data analytics and technology – all factors playing a role in disrupting the debt collection industry.”

Michande Malan, project manager of the conference, said the participation of Principa on the programme as speakers, as well as exhibiting our services, underlines the broad participation of industry role-players in the event.

As speakers, delegates and exhibiting partners, we look forward to the conference and hope to see you there! Feel free to contact michandre@tci-sa.co.za for any registration assistance.
